Photo of the Week: Robarts Library
The John P. Robarts Research Library at the University of Toronto viewed at night. Opened in 1973, Robarts is the prime example of brutalist architecture in North America. It is said to have been built in the shape of a concrete peacock and is often cited as a potential model for Umberto Eco’s library in In the Name of the Rose.
